DIRECTION "Visions of the Future" issue
Edited by Catherine Kettrick
We are particularly looking for people interested in writing in the following areas:
What will be the role of governmental regulation, and what is our most productive response to it? How can we as a community effectively present our work, both to the general public and to any regulators?
Is recent research important to our work? How might our work inform the work of researchers? (Some examples include the work of Libet on consciousness, LeDoux on emotions, Damasio on consciousness and thinking and Tooby and Cosmides in evolutionary psychology).
How has teaching changed during this past century? Do teaching approaches have to change, to "keep up" with a new century? How necessary is our work to the world, and how can more people learn of it?
Training approaches have changed. How can we ensure that teachers are well trained and skilled after completing different training programs?
Into what new areas are people taking the work? If we use the Technique in different ways, is it still the Technique?
If any of these areas interest you, please contact the issue editor
