Questions Answered > Website Subscriptions > I tried to reset my password, but received an SECURITY warning

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Please disregard the warning message. I know that sounds like the advice the operators received who were running the Chernobyl reactor, but this isn't a reactor...and your passwords and logins to DIRECTION are not sensitive information.

Warning, highly technical(perhaps irrelevant) explanation follows...

Direction Journal is "published" by squarespace.com. We use this wonderful website building service to make life easy. This means that the pages of our website reside on the squarespace server. Therefore when you request a password recovery your browser arrives at "squarespace.com"...where "directionjournal" pages are hosted. This confuses your browser because it's expecting to arrive at "directionjournal.com", hence the error message, or security risk message etc.

Clear as mud?

There is absolutely nothing we can do to change this situation. I'm just hoping you trust me enough to click past the warning message!
